Eric Wooten is a public relations veteran, having begun his career in 1998 working for technology companies like Oracle during the “dot.com” boom. Eric jumped into politics in 2000 and has worked on more than 30 campaigns and was a registered lobbyist for the League of Women Voters of California working on a variety of issues.


While working for the No on Proposition 49 campaign, Eric helped land more than 30 editorials against the measure.


Eric worked for the Alliance for a Better California during the 2005 Special Election, helping conduct opposition research, organizing protests, building the coalition and countering Arnold Schwarzenegger’s message.


Since opening Capitol Coast Consulting, Eric has worked for political races like the No on Proposition 16 campaign and corporate clients like Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.


Prior to his twin careers in public relations and political advocacy, Eric ran a small manufacturing plant in California that serviced such major retailers as Wal-Mart.


Holding a degree in experimental psychology form Oregon State University, Eric even has a scientific paper published under his name.


When not tirelessly working for his clients, Eric spends most of his free time on the I-5 and Highway 101, commuting between his residences in Sacramento, San Francisco and the Central Coast.
